Print the poster right from the iPad and hang it at the counter — bowlers scan it (or type the code at viewer.bowlingsideaction.com) and follow everything live on their phones. Nothing to install.

Yes, from day one: version 1.3 is already in the App Store. Bowling Side Action is designed for the iPhone Duo and iPad. Fold the Duo and the cover display becomes a live viewer for your event — brackets, eliminator, high game, mystery doubles, scores, and payouts, plus the QR code bowlers scan. Unfold it and you have the full director app on the inner display, on the same tab you were watching. Regular iPhones get the viewer only: bowlers type the five-character viewer code (or scan the QR poster) and follow the event live, no account needed. Running an event needs the Duo, an iPad, or the web app.

Yes. Go to director.bowlingsideaction.com in any browser and sign in with the same Apple or Google account you use on the iPad or iPhone Duo. Your events are all there, and anything you do in the browser shows up on the iPad (and on the live viewer) the moment it happens.

Yes — Pro and Event Passes belong to your account, not to a device. Buy on the web and the iPad or Duo is unlocked the next time it syncs, and the other way round. Same prices everywhere.

Use the manage-subscription link in the receipt email you got when you subscribed. It opens your billing portal, where you can cancel or change plans. Subscriptions bought on the iPad are managed in your App Store settings.

Bracket generation fills as many complete 8-bowler brackets as entries allow. Anyone left over is listed separately so you can refund those entries before the first ball — no partial brackets, no IOUs.

Yes — every director has their own account (Sign in with Apple or Google), and each account only sees its own events. Two different events just can’t share the same name, center, and date.

Yes — unlock the game on the Enter Scores tab, correct the score, and lock it again. Brackets, eliminators, high game standings, and payouts all recalculate automatically.

In the app: Settings tab → Delete Account. It permanently removes your account and every event you’ve created — from the app and the live viewer — immediately. There is no way to undo it.
